The United States Marines stand ready to defend America and her allies around the World with Honor, Courage and Commitment. From the Carolinas, Marines and Sailors have deployed to leave an indelible mark on the pages of our nation's history while participating in campaigns from 1941 to today. The Museum of the Marine will bring this glorious history to life with displays from World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Beirut, Gulf War, Iraqi, Afghanistan, and the War on Terror. The Museum will also recognize the many contributions made by the citizens  in the Carolina communities who, in many ways, enabled their deployment.
