Legendary Firsts

The 1. Q: Each of the buildings aboard Camp Lejeune is identified by a number and a prefix; the prefix identifies the area in which the building is located, and is based on the location or purpose of that area, at least initially.  For example, a prefix of “M” identifies a building or structure in Montford Point, now Camp Johnson. Likewise, “TC” for a building in Camp Geiger, an area first known as the Tent Camp, “HP” for Hadnot Point, “RR” for the Rifle Range, and etc. Your question is this: the prefix for Courthouse Bay, the current home of the Joint Maritime Training Center and the 2nd Assault Amphibian Bn, is “BB.” What does “BB” stand for?
