The story of the Carolina Marines began at Guadalcanal, the first U.S. offensive in World War II. Their story continues today, with ongoing operations in Southwest Asia. In war and peace, these Marines have distinguished themselves with their superb execution of every mission – from combat to humanitarian assistance – in an often-hostile world.
